URGENT CALL TO REPENTANCE: All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord. And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before Thee. For the Kingdom is the Lord’s and He rules among the nations. (Psalm 22:27-28)
That "live feature" is a regular occurance in PA. A solitary bear, such as this one, usually poses no problem. I worry only when there are cubs involved. Mama bears can be hyper protective/agressive.
I should say that the above applies to BLACK BEARS. A grizzly or a brown would scare the sh*t out of me whether it was alone or with cubs in tow...especially with cubs in tow!

OK. Very cute and snuggly.
And scary.
Yeah, they're cute ... from a safe distance. :)
What a beautiful back yard. Could do without the live "feature".
The picture doesn't show most of the 10-acre back yard. It's huge; bears not included. They just come around for the heck of it. :)
Not good, when they are coming that close, it's DEFINITELY not good!
Quite true, sir. It's uncomfortable, at best.

joated, your black bears are bigger than ours, and you're right. Any of them at all demand respect and plenty of distance.
Looks like that bear is saying " Oh Hi there just passing through"
In this case, Corey, you're exactly right. Thank goodness.
