That Was Scary, Part 2

Early reports are starting to come in from this morning's 6.24 'quake.

Here's a report from Facebook, from a law office in downtown Anchorage:

Wow! Maybe the bookcases should be bolted to the wall studs from now on!

Chickenmom, most people already use earthquake straps to anchor bookshelves & appliances. It seems the law office in the photo didn't learn from that.

We're fine, PH, but thanks. 99.9% of people here didn't see any real damage at all, as far as we can tell right now.

Sandy, the law office in the picture turns out to be on the 5th floor of an older building, downtown. It was as resistant to the shaking as newer structures.
