Despite a "winter weather advisory", the accumulation of 3" to 6" will be above 1,000 500 feet. That means we'll be surrounded by white mountains tomorrow, but only a trace an inch or so in the city proper.
Wet and sloppy, but ... whatever. It's that time!

No! You're supposed to blame climate change! It's never snowed in Alaska.
ROFL!
Cold enough, and enough snow, for the Colorado ski areas to start up their snow makers to lay down a base. One is aiming to open on Halloween.
I know that sharing is a good thing to do. But really, it isn't necessary for you to share your forecast with us here in Minnesota. (grin) We have the same prediction, minus the mountains. Where is global warming when you need it?!
It's early fall here. I'm loving it and will love it even more when the cold arrives.
WSF, just remember that we're at sea level, on the coast of Cook Inlet. No extreme elevations to help things along. :)
Vicki, you're welcome to skip the winter forecasts from this end ... if it makes you feel any better. Heh.
Matt, I'm with you. I like it at -20 and below; just a glutton for punishment, I guess.
Pictures! We wanna see pictures tomorrow! :0)
Chickenmom, I'll do what I can. :)
Rev. Paul,
Enjoy the snow, stay warm, dry, and safe on the roads.
