Lived without a helper for years untill one morning I gave my ex an 80 mile ride to the Salt Lake City bus depot. Didn't realize how badly I'd regressed.

WSF - I'm guessing you hadn't missed it, either.

Wait'll I show this to my hubby !!!
No really. This is hilarious! C'est moi !
The difference is that I deliver my 'observations' in a computer voice. No emotion. Just the facts.

Cathy, I believe you. After nearly 35 years of marriage, I'm well-acquainted with the phenomenon. :)

Just showed this to hubby as we were crawling into bed, As he was pulling his CPAP mask across his nose he mumbled: "My Little Helper" never sleeps. And he's right! I'm too busy driving while he's sight-seeing :-D

P.S. We were both laughing,

Rev. Paul,
It drives most husbands crazy to have a little helper when their driving. Ask my husband, lol.....

OK. I've got one more word on this thread now that it's somewhat buried. I swear. This is true. I am a good driver. On the occasions when I have a passenger, before I start the motor I state : Four eyes are better than two. If you see anything I need to be aware of . . please say so. If there's anything about my driving that makes you uncomfortable please tell me. (And by the way . . . when we're on a freeway merging ramp . . . I'm the one who says to hubby " Honey . . this is where you hit the accelerator." Just sayin' :)

Sandy, I believe that point has now been thoroughly established. :)

Cathy, I suspect it bothers whomever is driving. And yes, my wife's "help" really is helpful ... sometimes. Heh.
