"Our coffee, which art in coffeepot, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, here as it is in Colombia. Give us this day our daily boost, and forgive us our laziness, as we forgive the laziness of others until they have had their caffeine boost, too. And lead us not into decaf, but deliver us from instant. Amen."
Alrighty, then!

If we weren't meant to drink coffee, why did the Creator make water?
And coffee beans. Don't forget the beans!
Padre, I had to get a new coffee maker after a year. We have hard water and I forgot to clean it. AT one point it was taking 2 hr for a pot..We enjoy breakfast blend, a light roast. Not strong at all.
Cleaning is usually necessary, although we can go longer between, here, than anyplace else we've been. But our coffee? Medium-dark roast, robust flavor.
I am blest to know a local who roasts coffee of various delightful varieties from all over the world. Sometimes its so fresh you have to wait for them to bag it.
Well, I'd like to say, oh, excuse me, the coffee's ready.
Amen!
PH, that sounds like a blessing, indeed!
You're excused, Ed. Fresh coffee is important. :)
Thanks, joated.
Rev. Paul,
Nothing beats the smell first thing in the morning of coffee brewing on the stove and a great coffee prayer.
Sandy, I agree: there's nothing like that first sip of fresh coffee in the morning. :)
I can't drink it anytime after 9 a.m. or I'm up at night, but I LOVES my coffee when I get up at 4:30 for work.
Thanks for the Shout Out on the Bookbzz.com Prize Writing Contest where The Book of Barkley is in the running in biography (currently 2nd place). I really hope to win to donate the winnings to Search Dog Foundation. I've worked alongside those dogs and they are AMAZING.
Brigid, I was happy to help - your book is a labor of love that's worth all the good things that we can say about it.
