The Morning After the Night Before

Dinner with Old NFO was a joy. It was our first meeting, of course.

It was a wide-ranging conversation covering events of the last 40 or so years ... and it was a blast.

It even turns out that we were on Adak Island (Alaska) at the same time, in the '70s.

For all of you who passed greetings to him, here, I relayed those messages.

All told, it was a fascinating conversation, and absolutely made my day.

I'd mentioned here that I don't run into other bloggers, with a base of operations in Anchorage. Jim and I had to travel a combined 8,000 miles to make this happen.

I had a blast, and hope he did, too.

PH - when I mentioned your message last night, he just chuckled.

Jim - you are right. But then, you know that. :)

The feelings are mutual, Jim. I hope we can get together one more time before you leave.
