That's sort of weird because out of the blue last night just as I fell asleep I was thinking "If you think grizzlies are magnificent animals that should be re-introduced then I suggest they re-introduce them on YOUR property!." Really weird because to my knowledge we've never had grizzlies here and elk are the only thing I've heard them talk about re-introducing.
Your weird dream aside, I agree with you sentiment. Alaskans try very hard to share the land, and acknowledge that the wildlife was here first, but grizzlies don't get much leeway when they move into town.

There is sharing, and there is being dinner... I prefer mine in rug form...
NFO - LOL! Rug form works for me, too.
I prefer the beauty of Mother Nature in my yard but missing the big teeth and claws. Sounds like a good day for Netflix.
Agreed! We stayed in, last night.
Rev. Paul,
Nothing like a normal day in Alaska right? Did you make noise to scare this bear off.
Sandy, we never saw the bear - but some of our neighbors a block away did.
Yowza!
... could be worse though. You could have Seattlites moving in.
Jenny, I'm not sure that'd be worse - but it's certainly not any better. :)
