Hump Day Not-So-Funny

Over the weekend here there were several deaths due to car and motorcycle accidents. And one poor soul drowned in the river. I can see the same lunatics who want to ban a flag deciding that motor vehicles are too dangerous, but I think they may have a hard time trying to ban the river.

Vicki - banning the river is exactly the way their tortured brains work. I see now Drudge is reporting that DC residents want to rename the District, and tear down the Jefferson Memorial.

Them's fightin' words.

Rev, Paul, it may be that my tin foil hat is on a bit too tight, but it seems to me that we are headed downhill at an incredible rate of speed, and the brakes have failed. Change the name of Washington and tear down the Jefferson Memorial indeed. What's next? Rewriting history books. Oh, wait. Looks like we are already doing that. Sigh.

It's official: we are becoming the Soviet Union of the Kruschev/Brezhnev era.

Vicki: That's why the libs in Cali are causing a drought.
Rivers kill people.

I've long said that Obama is a dacha-owning, limo-riding Kruschev-style communist.

Dad called, all worried as we live in Chicago I told him that's normal weekend violence, criminals owning guns shooting other gang members, also criminal owning guns. #Blacklivesmatter doesn't count in the hood

Though I have to say, since concealed carry was made law, the random group attacks against workers and tourists downtown, have been reduced by about 1000%.

Oh so true... sigh

Ed - irrigation kills fish, too. Or something.

PH - I believe you're exactly right. Who else takes $12 million vacations during a recession?

Brigid - I'm glad the random attacks are down, but we still worry some about you & Partner. May God keep you, and all others, safe there.

NFO - we can't tell the truth now, can we? After all, it doesn't further the agenda.

I see the S. Carolina legislature buckled to political correctness.
Sigh.
Woe to those who would seek to harm Brigid and Partner. I suspect they would get an unsolicited response!

Guffaw - the "correcting" of history has been accelerating for a couple of decades, but seems to have achieved critical mass. The Progressives sense eventual victory, and have pulled out all the stops.

RE: your comment about Brigid & hubby ... boy howdy!
