I've been watching the bear cam at the falls. Seems the bears have a pecking order - some on top of the falls and some below. Guess the one forgot his place!
When my kids were young, we saw bear cubs along an old logging road in MN. Had to explain that no, they weren't teddy bears and yes, mama was near and would not like it if they picked up a cub!
Good advice, Vicki. We have tourists every year who never heard that message, and wind up mauled (or killed).
Never cease to be amazed at nature. Every aspect. Tooth and clawed. Comical and lovely. The all of it.
