I must be allergic to that song. My eyes started to water and my nose began to run (unike the colors in that grand old flag.) May God forever bless the USA. I never did renounce my oath of alligence from 1968. (enemies, foreign and domestic.)
Wonderful remarks from the real man in black. Have you ever heard his recording from near the time of his passing, When the man comes around?. Quite a musician and quite a man. We could use a few more like Johnny.
Alec - yes, I've heard it. The years, the tears, all his emotion and experiences, his acknowledgement of the coming end ... it's all right there. A very powerful album.
