No vetting is being done under Obama's order to speed up the process of resettling the refugees. Thousands may be Islamic extremists taking advantage of the opportunity.

Padre, I have been praying every night that things will get better. While some would say god is not listening, I say the lines of communications are jammed. LOL. I do think the whole world is on a downward slide.

Swell. I seem to be completely surrounded. I find it incredible that an average person like me can see why this influx of "refugees" may not be a good idea, but those government types see no problem. Might have something to do with the fact that I look at it from a personal level and they look at it as votes.

Rob, I know you're joking, or I'd give you a serious answer. But yes, it's going exactly as Jesus, Daniel and John said it would. I don't know whether to be sad because the tribulation is arriving, or excited because the tribulation's arriving.

Vicki, you're not alone. There are some 10,000 Muslims in Anchorage already, and a huge mosque is under construction. More extremists is exactly what we DON'T need. And of course you can see the problem; the Progressives apparently think they're somehow above the fray, and won't be among the first to be killed. Doesn't the phrase "useful idiots" mean anything?

MAY be terrorists?

I suspect the majority of them are terrorists.

God save the USA.....

Well, our dummy in chief has been saying domestic terrorism is more dangerous hasn't he....so he is importing some. Delighted to see that local cities are in line for some of these fine folks. I am sure the small cities to our east and west will soon have their share, as they spread out from Albany, which is 35 miles away. Hope they like our weather.

Rev. Paul,

I see the cities listed here in NC, and wonder where our State leaders are in addressing this, or are they just as anxious to get some more terrorist of their own? While we are admonished to love our neighbors (meaning everyone) we are not required to be killed by them. If you can, carry your weapons with you at all times, that you may help those who can not. We seem to be living in the Chinese curse "may you live in interesting times."

Grace and peace from our Lord and Savior,

Wade

Jim, I believe the same thing. This move is correctly defined as insanity.

threecollie, I can't imagine them liking Alaska either, but, apparently, here they come.

Wade, I have the same concerns, and can't imagine anyone just laying down and taking this. Since it's Alaska, there is no problem carrying a weapon. And I have no problem at all remaining armed. May God bless and keep you as well, sir.

Springdale is in AR, not AZ.
Unless the feds mean Springerville(?)

A tiny error, compounding the huge one of not vetting the refugees.

I don't know which is worse - the feds are completely incompetent in not vetting them, or if this part of some grand plan to further destabilize The Republic?

Either case is reprehensible!

Guffaw, it's all just another example of the incompetence of this administration as it continues its fundamental transformation of the country. Reprehensible is a good word, for starters. There are others ..

My town is on the list. We already have a Somali population that is an ongoing problem (rapes, assaults, workplace intimidation, unlicensed and uninsured drivers). I won't be part of the welcome wagon crowd.

Rev. Paul said...

WSF - understood. This situation has achieved "intolerable" status already.

I was so excited to hear about them settling refugees about 10 minutes from my house.

Rev. Paul said...

I hear you, Jay. Nothing in Anchorage is more than about 20 minutes from any other point, and that's several hundred miles too close ... if you get my drift.

I have lived in Delray Beach, Florida for the past 25 years... To date I have never found it necessary to contact a Delray offical in order to challenge a city policy, however, today I am up in arms and I called downtown. I just got off the phone with the office of our Mayor, Cary Glickstein. I spoke with his assistant, Delores, and expressed my opposition to any resettling of Syrian refugees here in Delray. I assured her that if Mr Obama does send even one refugee to our city, I will be out there manning the picket lines.

Rev. Paul said...

Chris, I applaud your activism, and I pray it's effective. Anchorage just elected a far-left mayor, and the city assembly is now leaning that way, too. I strongly suspect the mayor supports the fed push to increase the homeless population with a thousand or more violent refugees. It's insane.
