Every year, we hear less and less about Pearl Harbor. About the sneak attack which killed so many American fighting men and women. Civilians, too, although even less is heard about them.
We dare not forget. Tell your friends, tell your children and grandchildren. Remind anyone who will listen.
Psalm 22:27-28: “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the Lord's, and he ruleth among the nations.”

The different looks of the two ships is extraordinary considering they were only what? 30 years apart from having the keels laid? I could look it up but I doubt it would be much more one way or another.
I have never understood the look of the Arizona memorial. It just seems inadequate for what it represents to me. Too new age-ish or soemthing.
Preppy, they told us about that, during the visit to the Memorial. The designer, Alfred Preis, said "Wherein the structure sags in the center but stands strong and vigorous at the ends, expresses initial defeat and ultimate victory ... "
Every time I look at it the first thing I think of is an extra long early Star Trek shuttle craft for some reason.
