Chickenmom, they can be remarkably entertaining. And affectionate too, although some might dispute that.
PH, we (and our girls) had two until recently. Only one is left, and she lives with our daughters. We don't feel the need to have any more pets of our own, these days. We've both had lots of cats. And yes, Simon is a great chronicler of the struggle for supremacy. :)
