I'm Thankful

O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.
(Psalm 95:1-7)

We are the sheep of his hand. Now if only I'd quit wandering off and getting stuck in the thornbushes - I am truly blessed to have a Shepherd who hasn't lost patience with me yet!

*hugs* Thanks for sharing thoughts with us; it's been wonderful to walk through the year with you. Hope you and your family has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

We all have much to be thankful for, even all those "special little snowflakes". We just have to open our eyes, and our minds, to how blessed we are.

And the Book of Psalms is one of my favorite sections...

You're right, Jim, and we must keep in mind that Jesus told us to pray for our enemies, and love them. He never said we had to like them, which is probably a good thing. Psalms is a resource for many, and one of my favorites, too.

Thank you, Sandy.
