Home Alone

It's 0° F., and AccuHunch promises sunshine and 27°.

Older Daughter is instructing at an Appleseed shoot this weekend, and bucking for Shoot Boss qualification. Younger Daughter is working.

My lovely bride is at a multi-vendor event, hosting a display of the jewelry which Younger Daughter sells on the side for extra income.

Which leaves me at home with the computer, a couple of good books, and something else: time off. I can't remember the last time I was home alone for more than an hour or two.

Time's a-wastin'!

Ooo, I like home alone time!! I can eat what/when I want, read quietly, or USE THE REMOTE to watch what I want on TV!!
Most Sundays my DH goes to lunch with a buddy for a couple of hours. That's my alone time :)

The few hours I've had today were the longest in months. It's NICE.

Good for you.
I'm jealous.
I am spending night and day, literally, at work.
Zombie.

It was nice while it lasted, Ed, but turned out to be only about 6 1/2 hours. But we went out for dinner, so there's that. And I've done what you're doing; didn't enjoy it.

Enjoy it!

I'm "Home Alone 2" for the weekend while my wife is in Colorado fawning over the latest addition to the family!

I did, Jim, but it's long since over. That 6 1/2 hrs went very quickly. Enjoy yours, sir!

A belated congratulations, Reverend. ^_^
I try to get up early. Then I get a few minutes or an hour of alone time.
It is always nice.

Sometimes when I mow, I'll just stop under a tree and listen.

Have a blessed week! I'll try to send you some of our 80 degree days and maybe we can get a little of that cool I remember from Alaska.

Thanks, Linda - and you can keep the 80° stuff. It's too warm for us. 75's about as warm as we can tolerate for any length. :)
