Do they ever sleep in this race? Just curious.
Yes. There are mandatory rest stops along the trail, although the mushers can decide for themselves whether to sleep at one stop vs. another. They also doze on the sleds; one musher even put a seat belt on his, because he once fell off while asleep. :)
