Well ... we are at elevation, and in Alaska. We've only failed to have permanent snow cover by Halloween once in the last 14 years.

That's what I was just going to say. Alaska usually gets snow by Halloween. :)
That is a pretty picture. Reminds me of a Christmas card I sent out a few years ago.

Here in Louisiana, it is still trying to decide if it is summer or fall.

You're welcome, Linda. It was just a dusting, but the forecast includes 4" to 8" this weekend.

I live in a town full of snowflakes. And it is still in the 60's.

The solution is obvious, Ed, but perhaps not practical. That's a great line, though. :)
