Psalm 22:27-28: “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the Lord's, and he ruleth among the nations.”
We're already wearing our winter togs, but the seasons arrive here some six weeks before yours, in that part of the Lower 48. Ours will be around until April ... or May, if it's stubborn. Enjoy that new place, and I look forward to reading about how it fares in cold weather. :)
Enjoy it now, Jim; we all get tired of it, after months of clearing snow, but it's wonderful to see. And all that white stuff brightens the long winter nights up here.
We finally got some fall temperatures today. It was around 50 when I got up. Only supposed to get up to the mid 70s today. Seemed chilly to me, anyway. Funny how you lose that resistance after a while. I mean I grew up in Michigan. 50 shouldn't be chilly. Be safe, stay warm and God bless.
Linda, it's about whatever you're currently used to; acclimatization won't last forever, darn it.
Jim, we had planned on $1,200 more or less, but that's apparently the popular price point here. Every one of those was sold out. The next larger model, which we purchased, was well over the $1,500 mark - thank Heaven for a veterans' discount!

Rev Paul,
It sure is! Winter clothes have been pulled out, and the wood stove is ready for the first fire of the year.

We went out for a drive today to see some local attractions and do some furniture shopping.
There's snow in the higher portions of the Front Range, and it looks beautiful.
I might have a different opinion in February, but for now it sure looks pretty!

Oh, yeah.....I remember growing up in Northern Illinois. Really happy to see April arrive.
That reminds me....I need to price snow blowers!
Jim, good luck. We just spent more than I expected to, to get a machine that can handle whatever Alaska throws at us.

I figure $1,500~$1,800 should get a pretty good one....
