What the weather service calls a "fast-moving" snow storm is covering the area. Blowing & drifting snow, very poor visibility, slick roads, whiteout conditions on the highway ... and listening to some commercial on the radio talking about "autumn is finally here."

Reverend, this almost amuses me as much as the ads around here in July reminding me that "Winter is right around the corner" - as in at least another four months.
"Annoying" doesn't even cover it. :)
Nice to know that your summer is over if you have whiteout conditions.
