Agreed, Linda. The bloated bureaucratic which the gov't has become would be nigh-unrecognizable to our founders.
A republic, if you can keep it.

I agree, Ed, but the two of us aren't quite a majority. Darn it.
The disturbing thing is how many people are OK with dishonest and illegal when it's done by the "right" people.
