China's Crackdown on Christians Intensifies

Under President Xi Jinping, China’s most powerful leader since Mao Zedong, believers are seeing their freedoms shrink dramatically even as the country undergoes a religious revival. Experts and activists say that as he consolidates his power, Xi is waging the most severe systematic suppression of Christianity in the country since religious freedom was written into the Chinese constitution in 1982.

Seems to me it has already begun here. The war on Nativity Scenes during the Christmas season, the removal of the Ten Commandments from courthouses, the ban in some communities of Bible Study meetings in private homes.

Sadly Reverence, I fully expect to see the same thing happen here in my lifetime - in our case, it will not be Communist thought but Diversity that will be the banner behind which the Bible believing Church is mowed down.

TB, they're mostly one & the same, but you're right about the face it will wear. Christianity is wrongthink because it teaches that the other religions are mistaken. Apparently, that's "hate speech".
