Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:16, 18-19 KJV
This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves, The God who summons horses and chariots and armies— they lie down and then can’t get up; they’re snuffed out like so many candles: “Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. Wild animals will say ‘Thank you!’ —the coyotes and the buzzards— Because I provided water in the desert, rivers through the sun-baked earth, Drinking water for the people I chose, the people I made especially for myself, a people custom-made to praise me.

That is hard for me. I often dwell on what was, when I know it does no good.
I thank God for His patience and mercy.
A blessed New Year to all.
A great verse for the end of the year. Thanks Reverend.
Letting the past be past, and looking only toward the future with eagerness for all the new and good. Thank you Lord!
Happy New Year Rev Paul to you and your family. May the ground stop shaking for you in this New Year!!
Linda, it's a learning curve. We must decrease, and He must increase, as we learn to follow His precepts.
TB, you're quite welcome.
Thank you, Suz. If the ground would stop moving, that would be great. But it will be a spectacular year for His children!
