I Don't Always Agree With Neil deGrasse Tyson

but when I do, it's because he swerves into the truth:

Wow. Yes. Making sense.

First time I'm tempted to agree with him!

He got that right, and is catching hell from the left from diverting from the 'script'...

Indeed, Linda.

Me, too, jim.

NFO, you know the adage "when all are liars, telling the truth is a revolutionary act". It'll be interesting to see if there's any long-term fallout, and how he may respond to it.

I prefer to think that he agrees with us.
It's more palatable. :)

Rev. Paul said...

He certainly does in this instance.

Thank you, Ed, for making it much palatable!

I heard a radio host that put it rather clearly yesterday: One can either act on truth or feelings. And sometimes what is felt is more "powerful" that what is true.

Agreed, TB. It drives me twitchy when people ask others, "How did you feel about that?" Srsly, who cares? Ask them what they THINK about it, and watch the gears grind & smoke come out of their ears.

No one has been taught to think in decades.

Boy, is that a fact, Reverend. Sadly true.
