But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33 KJV
"If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met."
Matthew 6:33 MSG* * * * *
If Jesus' words don't completely fill you with expectation of God's goodness, provision and care, then remember this:
Remember, as the various farces play out on Capitol Hill, that the Lord God Almighty is in charge, and nothing - NOTHING - happens without His permission. And it WILL play out according to His will.

Hard to see; but very true.
Amen, and thank you, Reverend.
You’re very welcome, Linda.
A very good reminder. Thank you Reverend.
Any time, my friend.
Is that the verse that started "Consider the lilies, they neither spin nor toil"?
So true. And we don't know what his will is. We must trust in the Lord.
Yes, it is, jim. 😊
We know much of His will for the church, but not for us in specific terms. For better or worse, the Bible doesn’t say, “On 15 October, verily Jim will climb into the big white bird and yea, shall he fly unto the land of Molon Labe-ites.” Darn it. So trust is the key, as you said.
