Psalm 22:27-28: “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the Lord's, and he ruleth among the nations.”
Rob, I won't fight you for it. Personally, I'm fighting the progress of aging as hard as I can go. It may be inevitable, but it's gonna have to wait awhile.
Padre, It took me 2 hours to remember where I left my cars keys today. We searched high and low in doors and out. I started going through all my pants, sweat shirts etc. Found them in the old sweat shirt I wore yesterday.
2 months ago, I couldn't find my keys and I was at a CAP meeting drove me nuts. Found them the next day in a side pocket of my black bag I use just for CAP...No I wasn't driving that day.
Heavy sigh...Oh well...Time marches on. If it's not my keys, its my wallet, or cell phone...
I understand there’s a “find my keys “ app, with a fob that your phone can find. With my luck, my phone would be with the keys and I wouldn’t be able to find either.
My short term memory sometimes gives me fits. I can definitely commiserate with Rob on that. I'm not at the point where I need to stick a post-it note on hubby's head though. :)
I do make a lot of lists. I try to be systematic and do some things a certain way every day -- always put my glasses in a certain place, etc. But lists don't do any good when I forget them, haha! :)
I read a report, some time ago, which posited that it’s not our memory that’s the problem: it’s that life has become so complicated that we can’t keep track of it all. When failing to recall anything these days, I comfort myself with that. And I’m glad you don’t have to label your hubby. 😊

See myself on occasions.
I’m not there yet, but sometimes it doesn’t seem too far off.

Was I talking? Oh yeah, I said my memory's not what it was.
