Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:1-3 KJV
“Don’t let this throw you. You trust God, don’t you? Trust me. There is plenty of room for you in my Father’s home. If that weren’t so, would I have told you that I’m on my way to get a room ready for you? And if I’m on my way to get your room ready, I’ll come back and get you so you can live where I live.”

Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
I am going to take an opportunity to say something I've thought about this verse since I taught John a few years ago, and that came back this morning in Sunday School when Ephesians 2:19 came up. "Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,"
"Mansions" are dwelling places, abodes.
The place He was going to prepare for us was the Body of Christ, the Temple of the Living God.
We are the living stones fitted together 1 Peter 2:5 speaks of.
I think if we thought of this in these terms, instead of a "Mansion Over the Hilltop", we'll feel more empowered and encouraged to do His will.

I like that. Never thought of it that way before. Thank you!
Thank you for this. Good thing to remember.
Any time, my friend. I’d not be following my calling if I let such a platform go unused.
