Wifely Update: Prayer Works

On January 20th, my wife suffered two strokes. She immediately lost the ability to read, or even recognize words and letters. Her short-term memory was also affected.

We prayed. Friends prayed. Pastor and church family prayed. All y'all prayed.
She's been assessed by multiple doctors and specialists, wherein a recurring theme has developed.
"Remarkable progress" was used by every single physician, nurse, AN-P, and MA.

They're responding as men and women of science. But they didn't figure our God into their calculations.

This past Tuesday, she went back to work, and is doing pretty well. There's still some recovery ahead, but she begins working full-time tomorrow.

Praise to our Father God may now commence. :)

Thank you Lord for your many blessings!!

PS: I was diagnosed with a serious brain tumor about 28 years ago now, given 50-50 shot I wouldn't walk again, and 80% chance my speech would be affected...which, if ya had ever met me you would know I rarely shut up. :) Had folks praying for me from 3 different religions...I have some very slight right sided weakness, I mix up my words at the end of the week when I am tired, and I have a mild depth perception issue, otherwise, if ya met me, you would never know. I figured the Good Lord got tired of having everyone sending up prayers for me to come through ok. I figured He just threw up his hands, and said "Alright already".

It sounds as though the same thing has happened for your wife. May she continue to improve and thrive!! Tell her not to over-do!!!

Suz, I'm so glad that you were brought through the event with such a great outcome. Regarding your advice to her "not to over-do" ... why, it's almost like you know her or something. ;^)

Wow, sorry I missed this, don't know how I did... prayers that she'll be better than ever... thank God for the miracle!!

No worries, Bro. There’s no time in prayer, so all is welcome. Praise God!

Yes, He is. And we're His children, if we're in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

Woohoo!! God is awesome!! Very glad to hear of her miraculous recovery!
On a related note, a brother in our (Bible believing and preaching independent Baptist) church has been declared cancer-free after a bout with kidney cancer, that at one time had spread to other areas as well. Yes, he did go through chemo and all that, but ultimately it is God who healed him-He is our Jehovah Rapha!!

Amen!
