The top 13 mushers are all out of Kaltag, and well on their way to the west coast. Several more are still in Kaltag, but most of the pack hasn't gotten there, yet.
Thomas Waerner is in the lead, but Aaron Burmeister is only three minutes behind him.

He is the corner stone of our faith! Looks like the top group is shaking out about as expected.
Agreed on both counts, my friend.
There are over a dozen fast veterans in the top 20, and any of them could take the lead at almost any point now.
