God's Word for Friday, 6/26/2020

It's hard to believe that the year is half over already, isn't it? Seems like we've not really had a summer, yet. Oh, wait: we haven't.

God's Word:
Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
Leviticus 19:18 KJV

"Don’t seek revenge or carry a grudge against any of your people. Love your neighbor as yourself. I am God."
Leviticus 19:18 MSG

Some hard words to live by now days.

We went from winter to summer. If we had a spring, I missed it.

Rev. Paul said...

The desire for revenge is human, but the Lord wouldn't command us to let it go if we couldn't do it. :)

I was kinda-sorta referring to the "hunker down" period when spring came & went, but we're having a normal Alaska summer, this year. Cool & often rainy.

If only people would actually heed the words...

NFO, that's the trick with all these words. Darn it.

Agree with all.

Sometimes it's hard to follow His words and teachings.
