Psalm 22:27-28: “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the Lord's, and he ruleth among the nations.”
oookaaay...so my question is...is it just the vinegar and baking soda, and the onion is just a fancy bowl, or does the onion contribute something also to that chemical equation?? Guess I am going to have to find an onion and a light bulb and see what happens.
That's an LED lightbulb, and uses much less power than an incandescent bulb would. The onion, the vinegar, the baking powder, and the different metals the base are made from turns into a battery. Since many LED bulbs will light with less than the amount of voltage provided by an AC socket, the small amount of voltage produced is enough to light the bulb.

See? This is the kind of science that would have kept me engaged in high school.
That is just plain awesome!
That would do it!

This I'm going to have to try!
