Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10 KJV
Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.

Thanks Reverend. Very needed. I find myself slipping into a state of almost consistent, low level worry and concern.
Good words, but I'd also add Luke 22:36...
NFO, I agree. Times are now as dangerous as they've been in a long time. "Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." (Luke 22:36 KJV)
Even though I believe and have faith in Our Lord, and I know He can give us great strength at times, I still get fearful. Not as much for myself, but for my family and friends. I know I'm mortal and have limited time here, so all I feel I can do is try and protect them as best as I can.
And if that means leaving this Earth while I'm standing in a growing pile of hot brass, I pray he gives me the strength to do so.
I truly feel we're at, or very near to, the tipping point.
God give us the courage and strength to do what we need to do.....
Words for which I am truly grateful, Reverend.
drjim, I hear you clearly, and think you may well be right.
