So those moving/lifting ones must not be any place that gets any amount of cold and snow. Wonder what the cost of maintenance is on those. Neat looking though.
Snow and/or severe cold would definitely play a detrimental role in any operations or maintenance. I agree they've very innovative.
We have one or two of these at Old Home. Yes, climatic limitations but pretty darn clever. One wonders what happens when it "sticks" at the top...
Gravity would help bring the stuck bits back down, so we've that going for us ...
