It's Here

Winter, that is, in case there was any doubt. It's 3° F. this morning, and quite frosty. But at least the sun is shining; for most of the past week, we had dense fog.

But chores await, and new blinds need to be hung.

Later, y'all.

You can KEEP that stuff up there... And good luck fighting the blinds!!!

And if the blind hang the blinds, shall they both not fall onto the couch?

NFO, I'm aware of your ACAS (Active-Cold-Avoidance System) regarding the cold weather; there's no danger of our front making it to Texas. You may get the Canadian low ("not to be confused with a Mexican high" ~ George Carlin) that's headed that way, but we're not responsible for that one. :)

Ed, that's good. :) And yes, I'm falling onto the couch in 3 ... 2 ...

It's been down to -4 here, the second night of the snow we got last week.

The new windows and storm doors seem to be helping, as SLW says the utility bill is about $50 less than this time last year, even though the weather's been cooler.

Be safe, stay warm, and God bless!

drjim, that’s an impressive first reading from the new fixtures! Glad to hear it.

Linda, thank you. We’re doing pretty well, considering. 😊

Rob, I hear you. This La Niña cycle is supposed to bring us “teeth chattering cold” (as opposed to the regular kind). We’re already colder than normal, so maybe they’re right.
