I so often struggle with actually believing this.

TB, James wrote that to get what you ask for, it must a) be accordance with His will (the Bible), and b) you have to believe that He is a rewarder of those whom He has called. That's another way of describing faith.
Answer to TB. An eye opener.
WSF, I hadn’t thought of it in those terms. It’s just that too many churches never actually explain things like that: they tell us to “have faith” but hardly ever explain what that means. So I tried to give more info, and I hope it can be read that way.

WSF, I find that most of the responses I get from Reverend Paul are eye openers. It has certainly helped my faith over the years.
