Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
"But blessed is the man who trusts me, God, the woman who sticks with God. They’re like trees replanted in Eden, putting down roots near the rivers— Never a worry through the hottest of summers, never dropping a leaf, Serene and calm through droughts, bearing fresh fruit every season."
Don't take your eyes off of Him: He is our shield, Protector, source, provision, and hiding place. Remember that Psalm 91 says we should "hide under the shadow of His wings", just like baby chicks around their mother, the hen.
He will protect us, IF we remain close, and seek Him. In the season to come, we don't want to be caught out in the open, so to speak.

Amen. Wonderful words, all.
Good words, as we are in a 'drought' of belief right now...
I agree, Linda, and some of the most comforting.
That's a fact, NFO. I only hope that nominal Christians will rediscover these truths before calamity descends. Then, it may be too late for some.
Sometimes I wish MY pastor's sermons were as short. :)
I do what I can. 😉
Beautiful words of wisdom for the ages.
+1 on Old_NFO.....
