Reverend, the second one is made all the more poignant by the fact that most of the laws and moralizing are given by those that have security provided for them or can afford to hire it. For the rest of us, apparently, we are on our own.
Clearly you aren't one of the self-proclaimed elites, nor one of the club. Ask yourself what they want to do to you/us which works best if you're disarmed, and plan accordingly.
