Good morning & happy Sunday, readers!
I'm still kickin', in case you were wondering. I've not been inspired to post much. That's obvious, I suppose. I still read all my favorite blogs, but since we're not allowed to have personal e-mail accounts open at work these days, I don't comment often.
I've posted over 8,000 times since 2008, but haven't had much to say lately. Except when I write about Him ...
I write about God's goodness, His faithfulness, and how wonderful He is. Jesus loves me - He loves us! - and is coming soon.
Man is a temporal creature, and his works often soon perish. James 4:14 says, "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."
But that is not to belittle or disparage what we try to accomplish at His command, or in His name. His works endure, while ours do not. And that's how you can tell Who ordered them. (smile)
This is the Lord's Day, so rest in Him, and be refreshed.

I figured mostly you were being led to post what you have.
You can't go wrong with Him.
You all be safe, stay warm and God bless, Reverend.
You are correct, Linda, on both points.
Beautiful music!
NFO - By today's standards, that song's an antique. But I've always loved it for the important reminder provided ... something we'd do well to remember, these days.
Glad to hear you are still doing well Reverend. I think of you and your family often.
Thank you, TB. I appreciate it.
Glad you are still here. These oppressively times seem to make it hard for many of us to say much.
Thank you, ma'am. There is a tendency to withdraw into one's self, but that's counter-productive. Sometimes you just have to embrace the suck, as my Marine friends say, and keep on keepin' on.
