Most of the mushers are taking the mandatory 24-hour layover in McGrath, so the rankings haven't changed much since yesterday. 

But the leaders are only days from Nome, depending on weather and trail conditions, so the racing goes from "spirited" to "hardcore" now. Minutes - and sometimes, even seconds, matter a great deal.
