Winter's In a Hurry

 ... again. Sigh.

Sunday, 9/15/24

* For those of you who have been praying for the protection of former President Trump, please keep it up. It's obviously working.

* The Dem machine is pouring lots of resources into a campaign to convince us that the current occupant  (D) of Alaska's lone U.S. House seat is worthy of re-election. Unfortunately, it's not working. The conservative challenger is doing very well, on a far smaller budget, and the (D) is listed as "most vulnerable" to a loss.

Darn the bad luck. :)

* Regarding the carpet o' leaves shown above, it would be great if it would stop raining for a couple of days. Those leaves are plastered to the ground, and especially the asphalt, by our nearly non-stop rains. Meanwhile, there's snow on the medium-height peaks above town, and our temps this week will be mid-30s at night, and upper 40s in the daytime.

God has said America WILL be saved. And He needs Trump to help Him.
Good news about your congressman.

Our temps will be low 90s and mid 60s or low 70s, if I remember right.
Sometimes I wish I could afford to move.
But I don't think I could do the below zero any more.
You all be safe and God bless.

Thanks, Linda. We had low 80s in Gatlinburg two weeks ago, and that was plenty warm for us. 90s? No thanks!

Agreed! And those wet leaves are slick as...

Yes, they are. And plastered to the asphalt as if with glue. The 130 mph leaf blower makes little to no difference. And to top it off, it's been raining again today, and will probably continue thru much of the week.
