A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

Psalm 112:5 KJV

The good person is generous and lends lavishly; No shuffling or stumbling around for this one, But a sterling and solid and lasting reputation. Unfazed by rumor and gossip, Heart ready, trusting in God, Spirit firm, unperturbed, Ever blessed, relaxed among enemies, They lavish gifts on the poor— A generosity that goes on, and on, and on. An honored life!

About That Prosperity Message

Prosperity isn't a be-all and end-all of Christianity. It's part of the total package, because God wants you to be able to give when He asks you. He told Abraham that He would use Abraham to bless others - and that Abraham would be blessed in the process. 

It's a by-product of faithfulness, folks. 

"Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity." (Luke 6:38, The Message)

Or, if you prefer the King James translation: "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again."
