ALL WE ARE SAYING

All we are saying is that Americans have a right to choose. We should not be shamed when we exercise that right. All we are saying is that we have a right to the facts. That means access to any and all information that helps us make the right decision.

Why do you hide facts about effectiveness, side effects, and death rates? Why do you want decades to pass before you tell us the truth? We are right to be alarmed. John Kennedy said, “A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market, is a nation that is afraid of its people.” We cannot agree more.

No person should ever be coerced into an unwanted medical procedure.

Nothing is more antithetical to a free society.  Moreover, we believe that it is wrong to fire anyone because they refuse such a procedure. It is even worse to cancel their career. But the most heinous wrong is to deny their children an education. These actions violate everything America stands for.

Freedom of speech does not end during a pandemic. Arnold Schwarzenegger mocked those who feel their freedom is being violated, by paraphrasing them: “‘Well, my freedom is being kind of disturbed here.’” Then he said to them, “No. Screw your freedom.”

That is exactly what we feel our government is saying to us.

Now I will perform an experiment. Please reread what I have written so far in this blog.

Did I tell you not to get vaccinated? Is there anything I wrote that is a lie? Do you see any conspiracy theories here? Or any calls to overthrow the government?

Nevertheless, when this is posted on Facebook, they will link a disclaimer below it. And notice the comments that disagree with this post. They will say all of kinds of things that are inflammatory and false. Look closely, and you will see anger, accusation, and obscenities—but not one direct refutation of anything I have written.

What do I want you to note in all this? You need to see what is happening to your freedom. They want to bully and intimidate anyone who in anyway causes vaccination-hesitation.

But the real threat to freedom is going to come after this pandemic.

That is when we will learn that a lot of the restrictions have become permanent law, resulting in a permanent loss of freedom.

Former Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas once warned of a “twilight” phenomenon by which incremental deprivations of rights become permanent, especially when they exist long enough to become “normal” for a new generation.

All we are saying is that this is not normal. It is anti-American. And we must resist with all of our might.

 P.S. [Someone] said that Ivermectin does not work and that the vaccine stops people from getting Covid. You can only get Ivermectin from Doctors. If it doesn’t work why are hundreds of doctors prescribing it?  Clearly, we are right to demand answers.

I have been much troubled of late, regarding the fight which is even now striving for the heart and soul of America. We seem to be two peoples sharing a common border, but very little else.

Beginning over a century ago, school curricula began teaching that the founders of this nation were evil white Europeans. Slowly but steadily, the lives and writings of those who painstakingly crafted this Constitutional republic are forgotten, and in their place, we are served pablum ... the most puerile pap imaginable. Our younger daughter's history text, some years ago, had 24 pages about Sacajawea, but only ONE PARAGRAPH about George Washington.

Long has the pop culture and the so-called "mainstream" media told us that conservatives are evil, selfish, greedy, and so on. We're told that whatever their struggles, it has little-to-no relevance to today. After all, these are modern times. Didn't you know?

Bull. That's all a crock of the worst kind of garbage.

The men and women who gave their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor - a term which has nearly no modern equivalent - did NOT fight, stand, and often die so that greedy politicians could take care of us. That is NOT government's job, and I don't care who says it is. Anyone who believes that has been deluded. Or worse, they are deliberately ignoring the truth.

When President Dwight Eisenhower addressed the students at Columbia University in 1954, he spoke the following words:

Here in America we are descended in spirit from revolutionaries and rebels – men and women who dare to dissent from accepted doctrine.

Absolutely.

We can no longer afford to sit idly by, hoping for the best, while those who hate America are striving to destroy it from within.

The progressives - those who want to progress beyond the Constitution - are in a decades-old struggle to take over this nation, this federation of united States. They know that it cannot be destroyed by conventional means, so they have undertaken to weaken it from within ... to use our compassion, our essential goodness, against us.

They tell us we must "care" about this cause or that ... we must "care" about the hungry, the needy, the disadvantaged. Well, here's a news flash: we do. The citizens of the United States have traditionally contributed more to charity than those of any other nation on earth.

But that's not good enough, they say. The problem is too large, too complex, too daunting for churches, or civic organizations, or charitable foundations to deal with it. Only government can do it properly, they say.

Well, "they" say LOTS of things. President Lyndon B. Johnson declared war on poverty in 1965; how's that workin' out for you?

Yay, poverty's gone! Oh. Wait.

One of the things our domestic enemies tell us is that the Constitutional is just an old document. They say it's no longer pertinent to us, today. Oh, really? Patrick Henry said,

The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government – lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.

That Constitution lays out a few specific duties for the "General Government", as Thomas Jefferson phrased it. It also specifically says that anything not specifically spelled out in that document as being the responsibility of that government, is deliberately reserved to the States, or the People. That's the 10th Amendment (in case you've been under a rock for the last few years). But the Progressives in government, and their appointees who legislate from the judiciary, have been warping that for a long time now.

Those who love this Union, and the Constitution, and revere the idea that governmental authority flows upward from US, not downward from the government, are now waking up to find the burglar's out the door with all our possessions.

You think you're free? Do you have a permit for concealed carry in your wallet? Did you have to get permission to exercise your unalienable natural right, the one which shall not be infringed? Have you tried not paying the taxes on your home? Your car?

Do you need a permit to hunt? To fish? To board a plane? To vote?

Ihre Papieren, bitte.

Don't tell me about your driver's license; driving is a privilege, rather than a right. Unfortunately, too many have never been educated as to the difference.

This war - and make no mistake; it is a war for the heart and soul of this country - is here, now. You've watched that General Government ignore the voice of the constituency. You've seen them dismiss concerned and angry citizens at meeting after meeting; talking down to upset voters as if they were unruly children. After all, they say, they know what's best for us. Just shut up and listen, and they'll tell you.

Is your existence so precious that you'll pay any price in taxes, in licenses and fees and fines and penalties, in thousands upon thousands of new laws making your freedom a crime? Or, as Patrick Henry said, "Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?" You know what I mean, folks. Big Brother the Nanny will tell you what's best, after all.

The massive entitlement programs which have been put in place, to enslave generations of Americans, will be tough to dismantle. But we must try. We can't allow the promise of a free lunch to bankrupt us. Unfortunately, the politicians are seemingly ignorant of TANSTAAFL. They need to be educated.

No more. Stand up, my friends. We can not allow this to continue.

I know that many of you are already doing what you can. To those, I say, "Bravo!" But many of us could do more. Our elected officials must understand that we will NOT sink back into slumber while they continue to destroy our liberty, one new regulation at a time.

Just a couple of years ago, the Democrats informed us - while they berated the previous administration in the most hateful and derogatory terms - that dissent is patriotic. Oh, really? Then why were the Tea Partiers told to sit down and shut up? Why did the Rethuglican Party coopt the Tea Party movement? Why are conservatives called the same names now, by those still in power? Now dissent is not only unpatriotic, they say, but "hate speech".

As long as there's any hope that peaceful protest will still work, we must be peaceful. But we must also be insistent and steadfast in our determination that they have gone too far. The day could be fast approaching when we may not be able to do - or say - anything at all about it.

David Codrea: Houses of the Unholy

It was the International Day of Peace, celebrated a few weeks back by useful idiots from UN member nations at the behest of the General Assembly in its Declaration on the Right of Peoples to Peace.

“[T]he peoples of our planet have a sacred right to peace,” the aspiring global government declared. “[T]he preservation of the right of peoples to peace and the promotion of its implementation constitute a fundamental obligation of each State.”

“Sacred” as defined by “world body” functionaries? Well, why not, since they also presume to define “rights” in another arrogant Universal Declaration.

Article 29 of that bit of presumptuousness must be where Gomer does his “Surprise, surprise, surprise!” routine. “In the exercise of his rights and freedoms, everyone shall be subject only to such limitations as are determined by law [and] these rights and freedoms may in no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations," it reminds mere “world citizens” of their place.

That must mean we get our rights from them. Freedom, you see, is what the UN or any of its despotic member regimes say it is -- as is your "law-abiding" status. And, of course, there is no recognition that “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
That’s because the UN Panel of Governmental Experts on Small Arms report proclaims, "All States should determine in their national laws and regulations which arms are permitted for civilian possession and the conditions under which they can be used." So if the answer is "none" and "never," your job is to obey.

So naturally, anti-gun zealot Bryan Miller, now of Heeding God’s Call (and formerly of Ceasefire PA, which never did explain why it didn’t want to add the name of a problematic board member to its published roster), celebrated the UN Peace Day in full force with other “faith leaders.” Miller’s group is part of a larger coalition, Faiths United to Prevent Gun Violence, which among other things, calls for universal registration under the guise of background checks, and for banning semiautomatic firearms and what they call “ammo cartridges.”

Funny. A big argument is that anti-gunners have a “right” not to feel threatened by gun owners. Understand it’s the keeping and bearing of arms where the threat is perceived -- no actual abuse need take place. Their right to feel safe evidently is supposed to trump our right to be safe. And for that, these spiritual souls want the power of the state, through armed enforcers, to bend those of different beliefs to their will. Or else.

Sounds like a sure-fire formula for peaceful coexistence to me...

What’s also funny is how many anti-gun “religious” leaders play fast and loose with IRS rules regarding political activities tax-deductible non-profits can engage in. Just ask Father Michael Pfleger of St. Sabina in Chicago, that is, if he’s not too busy exhorting his followers to “snuff out” a legal gun shop owner.

Not that “progressive” groups intent on shoring up the “wall of separation” that keeps the Republic from becoming a theocracy have any intent of directing fire against any but “conservatives.” Just check out what has Americans United for Separation of (Non-Left-Wing) Church and State all worked up over and see for yourself.

Curious thing about these religious anti-gun “progressive” UN-types: The global citizen disarmament they espouse is precisely what so many governments have counted on to enact genocide against captive populations. Even more curious is how many of those regimes -- just like the modern “progressive” movement -- were hostile to religion, to the point of trying to wipe out those who practiced it.

“Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people,” Karl Marx asserted, in a universal declaration of his own.
So naturally, bearing in mind that for “progressives,” every day is Opposite Day, we see The Huffington Post pushing the headline “Sorry Republicans, but Jesus was a Marxist.”
And that brings us to another contradiction.

“"Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun," Chairman Mao noted. How telling that China, notorious for religious persecution, declares U.S. firearms freedoms a violation of human rights. That’s OK though, because they have a seat on the UN Human Rights Council, so they must know what’s best for us, whether it’s bowing in fear or just being on our knees.

Don’t look for any of this to make an impression on the cloistered fools, secular infiltrators and wolves in sheep’s clothing making up the “faith-based” monopoly of violence community. They’re busy preaching the gospel of worshiping an omnipotent state, one with the unchallengeable power to cast heretics, non-believers, apostates and infidels into a pit they’re first made to dig.
