Dinner at O'Brady's

We nipped out for an easy, convenient dinner at O'Brady's Pub, just a short drive from home.

The girls ordered the proprietor's signature O'Brady burgers, but I opted for the shepherd's pie. Rich, steamy, thick and meaty shepherd's pie.

I fully intended to take a picture, but alas and alack! the pie was gone in a trice, with nothing left to photograph but an empty bowl.
It's a nice place. I'm sure we'll go back again, soon.

Hey Preacher, What's for Dinner?

My wife & I just got back from The Dome, where we had to cut our workout short: it was so stinkin' hot in there that by the time we'd walked a mile, we were just done. Oh well, that doesn't happen too often.

Younger Daughter is in the kitchen, preparing blueberry pancakes, BACON, and a few other odds and ends. Oh - did I mention BACON? After all, it is National Pancake Day ... and what good are pancakes without BACON?

I had something in mind for a late-afternoon post, but it's slipped my mind. Must be a senior moment.
You - in the peanut gallery - hush. :)

One more thing: while we here in Anchorage either moan or brag about our 115" of snow, I just read that Valdez is now up to 404" - that's 33.67 feet of snow.  Those folks have the bragging rights, if they care to claim them.

Hump Day Blues

Pounding headache. Insufficient left-overs for younger daughter Sam to feed three. Serious cheeseburger jonesing going on.

We're off to Chili's.  Seeyalaterbye.
