URGENT CALL TO REPENTANCE: All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord. And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before Thee. For the Kingdom is the Lord’s and He rules among the nations. (Psalm 22:27-28)

Always Remember Your Towel
from The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy (Douglas Adams)
Common knowledge - everyone should carry a "sweat towel". Have carried one pretty much non-stop since '68. To say it's handy would be an understatement. Not carried it across a galaxy yet . . . but who knows . . .
Bill, the use of the towel in the book is multipurpose, and rarely for the reasons we'd think of as common sense - but you're right. It never hurts to have one handy. :)

Linus Van Pelt would concur! A towel--or small blanket--can be very useful.
That's true, although in completely different universes. But each author had the right idea.
And rope. You never know when you'll need a bit of rope.

Dang! It's been too long. I think I need to re-read the Hitchhiker stuff.
It's worth a re-read every so often, isn't it? Douglas Adams was brilliant.
