Well, now we know what the 5.7 'quake, plus the 16 smaller 'quakes that preceded it, were all about.
Mt. Redoubt, which last erupted in 1989, may possibly erupt in "hours or days" according to the article here. Redoubt is 100 miles southwest of Anchorage.
More fun and games in Alaska! It there is an eruption, the ash cloud could affect the Kenai Peninsula (Kenai, Soldotna, and points south).
Or it may not erupt at all.
The last time Redoubt let off pressure, though, it was followed a couple of years later by Mt. Spurr, which is just about due west of Anchorage, and only 75-80 miles miles away. That one dumped about 1/8" of ash, here.
Once again, we see the truth in the ancient Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times."

Yep, quakes and volcanoes are part of living in your part of Alaska I reckon. Sometimes those quakes just change the landscape and move towns around a bit, huh? But then it is still better than living in California...
