Well. This was one of those days.
Unexpected snow. Flooded parking lots from snow melt & runoff.
The wetland behind the parking lot flooded and partially frozen over. Storm drains backed up & water coming back up in driveways.
Loss of Internet. DSL gone ... to who knows where. No e-mail; no access to the bookkeeping software on a remote server. No fax machine.
All in all, a right fun day. Not.
On the other hand, the fresh snow on the mountains above town has brightened things up considerably. The sun is shining. A warmish breeze is blowing, which helps to dry up flooded parking lots.
And I have a loving God, loving family, and good friends. See? It's not so bad.
Psalm 22:27-28: “All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is the Lord's, and he ruleth among the nations.”
