Amazingly enough, the local press is getting it right: it's an "anti-government spending protest" and not just about taxes.
"Anti-government spending protests are planned across Alaska on Wednesday as part of a national Tax Day Tea Party protest, organized by a wide coalition of conservative groups."

"In Alaska, tax day protests have been scheduled in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Haines, Homer, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Soldotna and Wasilla, according to a national Web site."
Here's the rest of what the Anchorage Daily News is saying about tomorrow's scheduled "tea party."

The tea party in Anchorage was amazing. Wonderful to see so many like minded folks no longer being the "silent majority". I hope this wasn't a flash in the pan. The 4th of July is coming and it would be another great opportunity to show the left we're here to stay!
