1. How can they be unprepared, after watching those stupid, annoying commercials about it for the last two years?
2. How does the Alliance have any idea at all about how many households are "unprepared"? They can't keep track of the money we send them, nor what they're spending; I have no confidence they can track the money we keep.
They're probably basing their SWAG on how many people sent in for those $40 gift certicates, or maybe on how many were actually redeemed. Either way, I doubt there's any correlation to anything-resembling-reality in their estimate.

It's 47 & cloudy this morning, and it seems those clouds have decided to take up residence for the weekend. AccuHunch so guesseth, and we all know how accurate they are ...

I would rather be fishing.
Just being out & away from town would be nice. Let's go!
I'm with you on HOW STUPID ARE PEOPLE??!! Oh, that isn't exactly what you said is it? Well, you know there are going to be that group that said they weren't given enough time. siigggghhhh.
Have a good weekend! Cassie
I sent for one of those coupons using a governmental on-line site. I'm still waiting for it to arrive. meanwhile I went out and bought a digital TV for the Bolt Hole. Doesn't matter. The antennae I have won't pick up the digital signal. *sigh*
Are the Bolt Hole in a "fringe" area, or completely out of range? Satellite available?
In a fringe area, I once mounted the largest antenna that Radio Shack had, on a 25' pole, along with the most powerful signal amplifier they sold.
The only way to reach the antenna was using an 8' ladder sitting on two kitchen chairs, on the roof of a trailer. Wasn't a comfortable installation, nor was it the smartest thing I've done. I'm glad no one took pictures.
