Anchorage has been keeping weather data only since 1917, but here's a flying factoid: so far in 2009, we've experienced thirteen whole days when it got up to 70 degrees. That makes this the 13th warmest summer on record. Ooooh ... let the scorching begin!
Climate change/global warming/whatever you want to call it, it's not exactly hot.
