A Few Things

We got a light dusting of snow overnight; it's hardly worth mention. The temp is 30 degrees, and it's the warmest day in the 5-day forecast. That part's okay with us, as it should be cold, this time of year. Most of the forecasts - we have several to choose from, and they're equally inaccurate - call for light snow and/or snow showers.

Bring it.

The local news rag-cum-birdcage liner says that Tuesday's elections don't tell us anything, so we should ignore them. Translation: "We don't like they way they turned out, so we'll insist they're meaningless."

Pretty much like the article itself.

Otherwise, it's a very quiet day, as I rattle around loose in the old homestead. The girls have gone looking for a few more Christmas decoration: our daughters have informed us they will handle the decorating this year. We are to sit back and let them have at it, so they say. My wife - a wise woman - has retained veto power.

Have a great weekend, folks. Thanks for stopping by.
