Republicans have come up with a strategy for taking back the House of Representatives.
Calling it the 80/20 plan, they'll spend 80% of their time bashing the Democrats on cap-and-trade, health care, bail-outs and other unpopular subjects.
Politico quotes Eric Cantor and others as believing "Republicans aren’t as delusional as some think: They know they aren’t going to win a popularity contest with the public right now. But Republicans don’t think they have to, as long as the public remains down on Democratic rule." (emphasis added)
This is their plan? Really? Attack the Dems and everything else will just fall in place? Sure, because that's worked out real well, so far ...
Not.
Say, boys and girls, here's an idea: how 'bout coming up with some positive suggestions of ways to correct this out-of-control federal power grab & the socialization of the economy?
Because, you know, being against something sure beats having an idea of your own.

What the GOP Can Learn from a Pizza Chain,
Jonah Goldberg
That would absolutely be an improvement, and not a bad start at all. I doubt they'll learn anything at all; it's clear they haven't, so far.
And round and round we go... new boss same as the old... nothing changes with these guys, which is why we HAVE to pick some candidates FOR them... 2010 is the year of the underdog... I can feel it!
Here's the problem, THEY'VE ALL LOST THEIR THEIR COMMON SENSE! The whole bloody lot of them. Democrats and Republicans. I've said my piece.
Republicans don't know how to be the party in power. They'd rather sit at the back of the class and complain about how everyone else does such a bad job. Sheesh.
I'm so tired of all of it I could scream.
Oh and the ads here in MA for the Senate race are at a fever pitch. My head may just explode. LOL.
